Flaming Gorge.
Flaming Gorge, Lucerne Bay
We set out in hopes of catching one of the renowned lake trout the Gorge is
know for. After driving through out the night we arrived at Lucerne Bay
Marina around 4:00 a:m. We set out trolling and after a few hours
We did hook up with a small lake trout. This fish was not what we were hoping for but it was our first action of the day.
Fishing was slow. We did catch 2 rainbows and one small mouth trolling the shore line. Summer storms rolled through raining down hail the size of marbles. This made the trip more memorable.
